After our high-tech money belt, Wolferine Claws, Square payment system, FlapIt app, etc... I thought this might interest you.

Here's the new event created by the AllThingsD team....

Just in case you couldn't go!

(Have a look at the videos!)

What do you think?  How about a comment? See you in two weeks for our last class!

"Re/code welcomes you to the debut of Code Conference—produced by the same straight-shooting, visionary team who delivered the D: All Things Digital Conference since 2003.
Code Conference is where top industry influencers in media and technology gather for in-depth conversations about the impact of digital technology on our lives and our businesses, today and in the future. Executive producers and conference creators Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher go head to head with the same caliber of industry luminaries who shared their stage at the D conference. D featured conversations with the likes of Bill Gates, Elon Musk, George Lucas, and the late Steve Jobs—and Code Conference promises to keep pace, while also adding exciting new elements to the attendee experience."

Telecom Business & Finance | TBF | CONFERENCE

Telecom Business & Finance | TBF | CONFERENCE:

A bientôt,

Telecom Business & Finance

Amy Cuddy: Your body language shapes who you are | Talk Video | TED.com:

"Body language affects how others see us, but it may also change how we see ourselves. Social psychologist Amy Cuddy shows how “power posing” — standing in a posture of confidence, even when we don’t feel confident — can affect testosterone and cortisol levels in the brain, and might even have an impact on our chances for success."

How do you go about succeeding when you have an interview or "Toefl oral" you have to pass?

Maybe this will help... what do you think?

Your comments and contributions are welcome!

see you tomorrow

As Technology Gets Better Will Society Get Worse

Hello all,

Here's an article I found in the NewYorker that tries to answer the question: is technological evolution more important to humanity’s near future than biological evolution ?
I found it interesting and that it raised pertinent questions.

The Sochi effect

And here is an article of The New Yorker that I found interesting about the Sochi Winter Olympics Games and corruption.
Among other things it explains the short term and long term impact that government's corruption has on a country's economy.
